Aqui está a origem dos tecidos Shanti :) Feitos artesanalmente e com tintas naturais (a tinta é feita de lama engrossada com goma, argila e pó de ardósia), os nossos tecidos foram produzidos através de uma técnica de estampagem centenária, o Block Print. Os artesãos carimbam os desenhos com blocos de madeira esculpidos à mão e molhados em tinta, formando sequências únicas e exclusivas. As peças são valorizadas não apenas pela estética que proporcionam, mas também pelo processo de produção, que possui herança cultural e histórica.

Handcrafted and dyied with natural colours (the paint is made with gum thickened mud, clay and slate powder), our fabrics were produced using a centuries-old technique of printing, the Block Printing.

The craftsmen stamp the drawings made on the wooden blocks carved by hand and wet with the natural dyes, forming unique and exclusive sequences. The pieces are valued not only for the aesthetics they provide, but also by the production process, which has cultural and historical herige!
